The winter season can bring both positive and negative aspects for many of us. Cold temperature and low temperatures can have a detrimental effect on health and well-being, but it’s possible to minimize this effect by taking a few simple steps.


The most obvious tip when it comes to managing cold weather is to wear appropriate clothing. Layering is the key; many thin layers of clothing are much more effective at keeping your body warm than one or two thick layers. Make sure to cover your extremities, including head and hands, because much of the heat in our bodies escapes through them.
